It is wonderful to see the world from above! Be it natural or man-made, that unique aerial perspective allows us to examine our surroundings in a way that is simply not possible to do from the ground. Shortly after the Wright Brothers took to the sky cameras started to photograph our earth. Aerial photography and cinematography can be seen everyday.

Movie makers and commercial directors know this and make extensive use of aerial camera work in their projects. But you don't have to have a big Hollywood budget to include aerial material in your project. Surprisingly, there are affordable options where you can get that unique perspective that will greatly enhance your production.

	The opening sequence shot with the Panasonic HVX200 in slow-motion at 720P mounted on the AE gyro assisted mount in the foward configuration. Americans at War is a half-hour PBS special that's a living history of Americans at War - in their own words and from their own experiences.
