Thanksgiving Day is a big day for the NFL. The night game was in Baltimore this year. The NFL Network provides coverage in anticipation of the big match up including “Game Day Morning” featuring five experts on a portable set on the sidelines. The set is designed to collapse and retract off the sidelines in less than 1:15. No need for that function this morning but the setup used eight cameras including a jib, Steadicam, and “blimp” (actually a gimbal on a fixed-wing plane). Peter Roof was running one of the cameras on the set.
